We’re researching the housing needs of homeless LGBTQ+ young people in Cwm Taff Morgannwg.

According to UK research*, LGBTQ+ young people are four times more likely to be forced into homelessness in comparison to their non-LGBTQ+ peers.

RNC is conducting research for Llamau and the Cwm Taf Regional Housing Partnership into the housing needs of young LGBTQ+ people, aged 16 – 25, living within the Cwm Taff Morgannwg University Health Board (CTMUHB) area – Bridgend, Merthyr Tydfil and Rhondda Cynon Taf(South Wales)

Our researchers want to hear from practitioners in the sector and LGBTQ+ organisations.

It’s also crucial we capture the voices of LGBTQ+ young people that you support or are part of your group.

We would be very grateful if you could share the survey with young people.

To thank young people who participate in the focus group they will receive a high street voucher.

Please follow the links to complete a short online survey. You can also register your interest in attending an online focus group, which will be held between January – March 2022.

The survey takes just a few minutes.
