Heddwen Pugh Evans

Translator

Heddwen is Richard Newton Consulting’s translator and writer. Heddwen and Richard have worked together for over 20 years in a range of organisations.

A native Cymraeg speaker, Heddwen ensures all translations meet the highest standards and prides herself on varying the tone of voice to meet the needs of distinct audiences from Policy Makers to members of Wales’ diverse communities.

During her career, Heddwen has worked in the fields of education, training, the arts, and with children and young people.

Her CV includes work with The Prince’s Trust Cymru; NSPCC; Skillsactive; Careers Wales; Rathbone Cymru; Pembrokeshire Coast National Park Authority; and most recently with Play Wales, National Youth Arts Wales, Buglife Cymru, Grow Wild for Royal Botanic Garden Kew, and The Cory Band.

BA (Hons) in Music and 20th Century Welsh Literature, University College of Wales, Aberystwyth

Out of Office

Heddwen has a real passion for the arts and music and has raised two musical children, one a singer and the other a harpist. She still plays the piano, and she’s rediscovered her love of knitting and cross-stitch. She is also a crossword and sudoku addict.
