Katy Nettleton

Account Manager - Grants

Katy worked with RNC as an Associate Consultant from 2020 onwards, and she joined the core team as an Account Manager – Grants in September 2022.

Katy has worked in trusts and foundations and statutory fundraising for over 14 years. She has significant experience in developing compelling funding applications and tenders across the voluntary sector including constituted sports groups.

As a freelancer, Katy has developed fundraising strategies and securing support from Trusts and Foundations, the National Community Lottery Fund and the National Heritage Lottery Fund as well as BBC Children in Need and Comic Relief. She has experience working – in England and internationally – on capital appeals and revenue projects.

Projects for RNC include fundraising for GISDA, and coaching on a Chartered Institute of Fundraising Cymru capacity-building programme. Katy has made applications on behalf of RNC charity clients to Trusts and Foundations including the Fore Trust and lottery sources.

Out of Office

Katy is based in the Peak District, Derbyshire with her energetic family. She spends most of her time chauffeuring her children to different sporting venues. Katy can often be found with her head in a book or watching netball and hockey. Katy’s aim is to try something new each year.
